- Activities requiring the control of the Italian Fire Department, with the issue of official authorisation to operate (80 types of activities are listed, divided into 3 levels of hazard, based on the definitions listed in Presidential Decree 151 of 2011)
- Unclassified work activities for which control of Fire Prevention measures is delegated to the individual responsible for the activity, who defines the level of performance based on evaluations carried out with his or her Fire Prevention professional of reference.
